My blog looks at the archaeology and heritage of sites in Tipperary and surrounding areas.
As many of these sites are on private property, it is important to request permission from the landowner before entering private lands so that access does not become a problem across all sites.

Over 500 individual Ryan Family nicknames - many with townlands associated with them.
Really cool! My 2nd gr grandparents are a William Ryan and Margaret Clifford from Commaun Beg. Family was still there 1911, census info. Your nickname list shows Clifford as nickname for Ryans from Commaun Beg.
I have some information that can help update your clan/location spreadsheet. I'm Ryan-Honesty and part Ryan-Herd. Please email me at receiptspc@gmail.com.
Has anyone information on the Ryan Lauder family from Knockavilla (Castleconnell and Capamore also) John Ryan Lauder was in Griffith's Valuation in Castleconnell. Am doing a family tree and would like to hear from you ...
My gt-grandfather was Patrick Ryan b.1833 and gtgt-grandfather was William Ryan b.1811 who married Margaret Murphy on 22/1/1832 at New Inn/knockgraffon, whilst living in Marlhill, Tipperary. The family moved to Manchester, England c.1847. 2 months ago I travelled to Tipperary in the hope of finding clues to the whereabouts of my family but unfortunately found nothing.
My new email address is wrightmaryellen@yahoo.com (Not the one posted below!) Thank you!!
